The Bocas del Toro archipelago of Panama has a fantastic diversity of poison dart frogs. The Strawberry Poison Dart frog (Oophaga sp.), in particular, shows many color morphs that are geologically isolated on small islands. Unfortunately, the lethal amphibian chytrid fungus (Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis) is spreading across Central America and wiping out entire populations of frogs. We have been geotagging our images to give precise locations of where we photographed these frogs.
